I hope everyone has had a good summer!!

Couple of updates – we have completed most of the signage / kiosks on the Sisemore and Couch Market entry points to the Tumalo Natural Area.

We have a little more to do on the kiosk at the north end of Sisemore and hope to get that completed in the next few weeks.

We are organizing a meeting for the ‘friends’  to review ongoing activities and discuss future plans – probably late September / early October – more information on that shortly.

More immediately we are having a trash pick up work party in the canyon running parallel with Sisemore Road on Saturday, August 30th starting at 8:30am. The trash isn’t too bad but certainly some clean up is needed so if anyone has a couple of hours to spare on the morning of August 30th we’d be very pleased if you would join us.

We shall meet at 8:30am by the Tumalo Natural Area kiosk at the south end of Sisemore Road – this is located a few hundred yards north (left side as you head north) of the Tumalo Natural Area entry sign.

Please bring work gloves and liquid refreshment (especially if its hot!).

We’d appreciate it if you would email if you plan to join us so we can get an estimate of numbers.
